We visited this Holiday Inn Express in Red Bluff on Friday, July 5th, 2024, on our return trip from Disneyland to the cooler Pacific Northwest. It was hitting 118 degrees Fahrenheit, so it was uncomfortable to continue. We found an easy on/off exit off the I-5, pulling up to check in quickly, and they had significant shade structures to cover cars from the heat. I was impressed. The concierge was distracted and overwhelmed; he didn’t recognize our Platinum status, so there was no presentation of extra points or the goodie bag/cookies that one expects with Holiday Inn. (This was remedied by the wonderful woman in the morning when we checked out while requesting a late exit). The room was beautiful, comfortable, and plush. Dark shade window coverings so the heat didn’t come through. A calm and relaxing time at the indoor pool and a nice Mexican restaurant down the street. It was a perfect stop for our trip home. Thank you. We visited 7/5/24 – 4 stars.

This Holiday Inn Express is an easy on-off of I-5 travelling North or South in Northern California. A modern hotel near infamous tourist attraction Mount Shasta. The hotel is non-smoking, has shade/snow structures for parking, a hot breakfast buffet with pancakes, indoor pool, whirlpool, business center, fitness area, wired and wireless high-speed internet. Great spot for tourist visitation of Win-River and Rolling Hills Casino, Mount Shasta, Shasta, Weed, Redding, Sacramento, Chico, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Redwood National Park, and Shasta National Park.
